    1.Product Description


    EI16 Low Frequency Transformer is a kind of electronic transformer, which is defined according to the shape of the iron core, because the iron core of the EI transformer is superimposed by the "E" type piece and the "I" type piece, so it is called an EI transformer. EI transformers are generally power frequency (low frequency) transformers (50HZ or 60HZ), power transformers, and some audio transformers are also EI, such as those used in audio.


    EI transformers are classified according to size, and the general large category is classified according to the length of silicon steel sheets. For example, the commonly used EI-19, EI-28, EI-35, EI-41, EI-48, EI-57, EI-66, EI-76.2, EI-86, EI-96, EI-114 and so on. Among them, 28, 35, and 41 refer to the length of the silicon steel sheet.


    The detailed classification also considers the total stack thickness of silicon steel sheets. Some transformers are marked with EI-48*20. This 20 means that the total stack thickness of silicon steel sheets is 20mm, so this transformer is EI-48. The subdivision is as follows: EI-48*20.

    Some places are also classified according to the width of the cutout of the silicon steel sheet. The cutout refers to the part that protrudes from the middle of the E sheet, as shown in Figure 1, marked A, and some say EI-16*20, of which 16 means the cutout width is 16 The EI-48 transformer has a width of 16, so the EI-16*20 transformer is the EI-48*20 transformer.
