1.Working Principle

The operation of SMD Power Inductor is based on the principle of electromagnetic induction. When an alternating current is passed through the coil of a chip inductor, the coil generates a magnetic field, the magnitude of which is proportional to the current in the coil. The magnetic field is proportional to the current in the coil. At this time, the magnetic flux in the core will also change, thus generating an induced electromotive force (EMF) in the coil. The magnitude of this induced electromotive force is related to the number of turns in the coil, the rate of change of the magnetic flux, and the strength of the magnetic field. When the magnetic flux changes, the coil will produce an induced current, this induced current in the coil will produce a magnetic field opposite to the original magnetic field, thus hindering the original flux changes. This process is repeated over and over again, causing the chip inductor to exhibit the characteristics of an energy storage device.
